How to use PRO Set Gel Polish Kit
Every PRO Set includes base coat, top coat and a full wardrobe of 10 mL gel colors. Thin, even coats and full curing between layers give a smooth, glossy manicure that lasts.
What you need

- UV/LED lamp
- 180-grit file and buffer
- Lint-free wipes and alcohol or dehydrator
Step by step
Prep the natural nail
Push back the cuticles, remove any non-living tissue from the nail plate, then lightly buff away the shine with a 180-grit file. Brush off all dust.
Dehydrate
Wipe each nail with a lint-free pad and alcohol or a nail dehydrator. Do not touch the nail plate after this step; skin oils cause lifting.
Apply base coat
Apply a thin layer of the base coat from the set, cap the free edge and cure.
Apply the first color coat
Apply a thin coat of color, cap the free edge and cure. Cure in an LED lamp for about 60 seconds or a UV lamp for about 120 seconds. Cure times vary by lamp wattage, so follow your lamp’s guide.
Apply the second coat
Apply a second thin coat for full, even color and cure.
Seal
Finish with the top coat (glossy, matte or glitter, depending on your set) and cure.
Pro tips
- Roll the bottle between your palms before use; do not shake hard to avoid bubbles.
- Keep coats thin; thick layers can wrinkle or cure unevenly.
- Use the color chart card to plan combinations before you start.
Avoid
- Avoid getting gel on the skin or cuticles; clean it off before curing.
Removal & aftercare
File away the top coat to break the seal. Wrap each nail in a cotton pad soaked in acetone (or apply a soak-off gel remover) for 10–15 minutes, then gently push the softened gel off with a cuticle pusher. Never peel or pry gel off the natural nail. Finish with cuticle oil.
