About Classic Hard Builder Gel
Our classic salon builder gel in 14 shades and two jar sizes. Its self-leveling, medium-viscosity texture masks dents and imperfections while you build a strong apex.

How to use Classic Hard Builder Gel
Builder gel adds structure for overlays and extensions. A well-placed apex is the key to a strong, natural-looking set.
What you need
- Builder gel
- Base coat or bonder
- Forms or tips for extensions
- Builder brush
- UV/LED lamp
- 100/180 file
Step by step
Prep
Prep the cuticle, buff the nail plate and dehydrate.
Thin first layer
Scrub a thin slip layer of builder or base into the nail. Cure under a UV or LED lamp for the time your lamp recommends.
Place a bead
Pick up a bead of builder and place it in the centre of the nail.
Shape the apex
Float the gel toward the free edge and side walls, keeping the highest point in the stress area.
Cure
Cure under a UV or LED lamp for the time your lamp recommends.
Refine and finish
Wipe, file the shape, then finish with colour and top coat.
Pro tips
- Turn the hand upside down for a few seconds to help the apex form.
- Clear can be used single-phase: base, builder and gloss.
Avoid
- Do not let builder touch the cuticle or side walls.
Removal & aftercare
File away the shine of the top layer, then wrap each nail in a cotton pad soaked in acetone or gel remover for 10–15 minutes. Gently push the softened product off with a cuticle pusher, never peel or pry. Finish with cuticle oil.
