How to use Dipping Powder Color Sets
Dip powder creates strong colour without a lamp, using base, powder and activator layers.
What you need
- Dip powder
- Dip base
- Activator
- Dip top coat
- File and buffer
Step by step
Prep
Clean, push back cuticles and lightly buff the nail.
Base and dip
Apply a thin layer of dip base, then dip the nail into the powder at a 45° angle and tap off the excess.
Repeat
Repeat base and dip until you reach the desired coverage.
Activate
Apply activator, let it dry, then file and buff smooth.
Top coat
Apply a second coat of activator, then dip top coat.

- Pour powder over the nail instead of dipping for better hygiene in salons.
Avoid
- Keep base away from the skin.
Removal & aftercare
File off the top layer, soak in acetone for 10–15 minutes and gently remove the softened product.
