How to use Non-Stick Solid Builder Gel
Solid builder gel is non-sticky and holds its shape, so you can sculpt, extend and repair with control.
What you need
- Solid builder gel
- Base coat
- Forms or tips
- Solid gel spatula/brush
- UV/LED lamp
- File
Step by step
Prep
Prep the nail and apply a thin base layer; cure.
Scoop
Scoop a small amount with the spatula; it will not drip.
Shape
Press and smooth the gel into shape on the nail, form or tip.
Cure
Cure under a UV or LED lamp for the time your lamp recommends.
Finish
File, then finish with colour and top coat.
Pro tips
- Use a little cleanser on the tool for a smooth surface.
Avoid
- Do not apply over oily nails.
Removal & aftercare
File away the shine of the top layer, then wrap each nail in a cotton pad soaked in acetone or gel remover for 10–15 minutes. Gently push the softened product off with a cuticle pusher, never peel or pry. Finish with cuticle oil.
