How it is used
- Prep the natural nailPush back the cuticles, remove any non-living tissue from the nail plate, then lightly buff away the shine with a 180-grit file. Brush off all dust.
- DehydrateWipe each nail with a lint-free pad and alcohol or a nail dehydrator. Do not touch the nail plate after this step; skin oils cause lifting.
- Apply base coatApply a thin base coat and cure.
- Scoop the gelTake a small amount of gel with a spatula or brush. Its firm texture will not drip or string.
- Place and sculptPlace the gel on the nail or tip and press it into shape. Build the apex in the center and keep the gel thin near the cuticle. For 3D art, roll and carve shapes on the nail.
- CureCure fully. Cure in an LED lamp for about 60 seconds or a UV lamp for about 120 seconds. Cure times vary by lamp wattage, so follow your lamp’s guide.
- Refine and finishFile and buff, apply color if you like, and seal with top coat.
