How it is used
- Prep the natural nailPush back the cuticles, remove any non-living tissue from the nail plate, then lightly buff away the shine with a 180-grit file. Brush off all dust.
- DehydrateWipe each nail with a lint-free pad and alcohol or a nail dehydrator. Do not touch the nail plate after this step; skin oils cause lifting.
- Apply base coatApply a thin base coat and cure.
- Choose the formPick a form that fits the nail from sidewall to sidewall.
- Fill the formPlace a small amount of poly gel inside the form and shape it with a brush lightly dampened with slip solution. Keep it thin at the cuticle end.
- Press onPress the form onto the nail at a 45° angle, then lower it. Clean any product that touches the skin.
- Cure and releaseCure in an LED lamp for about 60 seconds or a UV lamp for about 120 seconds. Cure times vary by lamp wattage, so follow your lamp’s guide. Then gently twist the form to pop it off.
